The Scent Of Her Soul Film

So my husband, Jonathan, and I desire to create a short-film about the sex-trafficking industry. The story is an adaptation of a powerful novel written by Christian author, Bryan Davis. The plot: A vigilante father uses a unique gift to find and rescue sex-trafficking victims.

Mike, the father, knows first-hand what it’s like to have a child kidnapped and dragged into the human-trafficking industry. After suffering an injury that renders him helpless to rescue his daughter from a kidnapper, Mike awakens with a special gift: he is able to detect the scent of a girl’s soul.

Armed with this gift, he sets out on quest after quest to rescue missing girls across the country, hoping to gain clues about his own daughter along the way.

We really believe in this inspirational and beautiful story, and know it will impact audiences and can put a dent in the dark world of human-trafficking. We desire to enter the film in the Miami Film Festival’s short-film category.

God has been opening doors. A very talented cinematographer and brother in Christ has offered his services and the provision of equipment free of charge. We will even be filming one of the scene’s in his home. Also, a film teacher at Calvary Chapel Academy and Palm Beach Atlantic University has also offered to help us with this project.

The script is finished, the shooting schedule set, and actors are submitting to our project, a few of which have already been cast. None of the actors or crew is getting paid, however, we need funds to provide lunch and coffee as well as funds for props, wardrobe, and the film festival submission fee. It will only take under $1,000 to make this film happen!

If you desire to help be a voice for the voiceless, then please donate! All who donate $50 or more will have their name in the credits! And those who contribute $100 or more will be invited to attend the premier party!

You can donate at our Go Fund Me Page.

Thank you so much for your time and support.

Abortion And The Human Heart

As I pondered how in the world human beings can support abortion, this verse flooded my mind:

“The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?” (Jeremiah‬ ‭17‬:‭9‬)

Apart from having Christ reign in our hearts through His Holy Spirit, they are desperately wicked. The passionate cries of pro-choicers is a living example of that fact. These women chant and rave, yell and swear for the right to murder a poor, helpless child as he grows tenderly inside his mother’s womb.

I saw a video of an ultrasound displaying a live abortion to a baby at 12 weeks (when most abortions are committed), and his heart began racing and he literally started jolting in an effort to move away from the sharp steel tools stabbing at his amniotic sac. When the tools penetrated and began dismembering the child, his mouth opened like a silent scream! Limb by limb, he was scrambled to bits like an egg with only a floating head remaining which the abortionist used a clamping device to remove from the mother.

I read one article where a pregnant abortionist confessed that as she pulled off the baby’s leg she was killing, her own baby kicked for the first time.

To know you are brutally murdering a helpless child, but still justify it is an astounding testimony to how depraved the human heart is without Christ’s love living within it and transforming it.

I pray that more and more women and men as well recognize their desperate need for a Savior. That in God’s holy eyes we are all wicked and need the blood of His Son to be cleansed and forgiven. No one is even close to good enough for heaven, only Christ Jesus Himself was worthy. He did not know sin, yet became sin for us and died in our place. His crucifixion is what we deserved. But in His incredible love, He paid the price for our punishment. And what does God require? We forsake our evil ways and thoughts and choose to surrender to His Son, who loved us and gave Himself for us so we can be forgiven and receive eternal life.

Why anyone would reject this vital offer is because of the verse I shared: our hearts are deceitful and wicked. Whoever rejects Christ has deceived themselves into thinking they do not need Him. And for you, I pray God’s mercy and revelation that your blinded eyes may be opened to His truth so you can be set free from the devil’s chains that are binding you.

With love,

Natasha

I’m A Christian, But I Don’t Want To Be “Just” A Wife And Mother

My sister in Christ who is in a relationship and preparing for marriage shared something with me this morning that the Lord is working on in her, and it’s worth sharing.

She and her boyfriend are taking premarital classes with a pastor and are in the Love and Respect phase. Sir Jonathan and I likewise read Dr. Emerson Eggerichs’ book (Love and Respect) together during our premarital days. It really opens your eyes to how women need love and men need respect and how to give and communicate those essential actions.

So her boyfriend ends up telling her one day: “The way you’re speaking to me is disrespectful.” She goes to the Lord about it, and He tells her: “Imagine he was Jesus. Would you speak to him the same way?”

This poignant question definitely convicted her. I thought it was such a fine lesson from the Holy Spirit that all women of God should contemplate when speaking to others, especially the opposite sex.

“Don’t be conformed to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind.”-Romans 12:2

In America, there is an ever-increasing feminist agenda that is ironically becoming more and more hostile to the essence of womanhood and especially hostile toward men.

To think this pervasive mindset that saturates the media has no affect on us Christian women whatsoever is to be naive at best, and prideful at worst. But there’s another message that on the surface seems innocent, but is a worldly concept—not a Christ-like one—and that is this whole, “Chase your dreams,” notion. When this notion is not submitted to Christ, it can also tie into that hostile feminist attitude and manifest itself in disrespect.

I’ve seen this time and again with my precious sisters in Christ, and I’ve experienced it too. They desire marriage and children, a godly desire that is engrained in every woman’s DNA no matter how much they try to suppress it, but there’s a competing desire, one that can very well be ungodly.

A lot of Christian women think they need their own ministry or career. They have dreams of using this ministry to make disciples. But when that dream becomes “threatened” by marriage and children, they can get defensive and disrespectful to their male counterpart.

I’m not saying every dream we christian women have is a worldly desire. The dream can very well be from God, but we must be open to His timing. I RARELY see women under forty running a ministry. Most of the time, they’re wives who have already raised their children, and are now freed up to team with their husbands to start a ministry.

God can give you a dream like He gave Joseph, but not fulfill that dream until years and years of preparation and dying to yourself. And if we are not willing to lay that dream down for the sake of serving others, namely, our husband and children, that’s pride and it is dishonoring to God. His Word teaches us in Philippians 2:4 to not only look out for our own interests, but that of others as well, and Christ said in order to be great we must become least of all and servant of all.

The proverbs 31 woman sold clothes and fields, earning a profit, but her first obligation was to her husband and children and that’s really what she was highly praised for—caring for her family and household. But the feminist movement devalues stay-at-home mothers and exalts busy, unmarried, career women. There’s an exaltation of self, and a message that putting your dreams on hold to serve your husband and children is degrading when in reality, it’s extremely Christ-like and fruitful.

There’s no higher calling than making disciples for Jesus. A mother’s role is so critical to building God’s kingdom He makes sure the Word emphasizes her role over and over; Malachi 2:15, Titus 2:4-5, Proverbs 31:27-29, Psalm 127:3.

My prayer is that you would see with God’s eyes, not our society’s; that your mind would be transformed, not conformed to the pattern of the world. Feminism is an exaltation of self, it is not a Christ-like movement of serving others. It’s all about self—my wants, my dreams, me, me, me, and it has become so demonic it is now the biggest vehicle for promoting the murder of innocent babies in their mothers’ womb.

Please keep reading God’s Word. Let Him teach you and give you discernment. Be willing to put your dreams on hold for the greater good of your husband and children. Putting others before yourself is very pleasing to the Lord, submitting to your husband, raising your children to be godly, that is what He desires most because that—marriage—is what exemplifies His relationship with us most. And it is also a great tool God uses to equip us for ministry. If we as Christian women can die to ourselves and serve our husband and children, we can die to ourselves and better serve other women we desire to minister to in the future.

Lastly, let us not forget marriage and child-rearing ARE ministries—extremely important ones. When you study God’s Word, you see just how much He values this ministry. As women, we have incredible worth and purpose, and it’s not for the reasons the world perpetuates.

May you discover the beauty and honor in being a woman who walks in her Heavenly Father’s will.

Grace and peace to you,

Natasha

I Have Everything I Need In Christ. Do You?

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (‭Philippians‬ ‭4‬:‭19‬ NKJV)

Do you believe this? And this:

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (‭Matthew‬ ‭6‬:‭33‬ NKJV)

If you’re a Christian, a person who has repented of your sins and trusted in Christ as your Savior and Lord, these promises are yours.

The bible says God cannot lie. If He promises He will supply all of your need by Christ Jesus His Son, He will do it.

Now here’s the awesome thing: He already has.

Some think because they’re single, God hasn’t supplied everything they need, but that isn’t true. In whatever circumstance you’re currently in, God has provided you with everything you need. Apparently, if you’re still single, you do not need a husband right now. Maybe you’re not ready, maybe the man is not ready, and thus God in His infinite wisdom keeps you apart for now, knowing you two do not need each other at the moment. In fact, putting you together would actually do more harm than it would good.

Maybe you don’t have or realize you have everything you need, and this can be because you aren’t doing your part: seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness.

Every Christian wants God to hook them up, to give them everything they need and want. But, how many are actually pursuing God the way He commands us to? How many of His children are actually seeking Him and His righteousness above all else?

I think it’s safe to say the vast majority of self-proclaimed Christians are not seeking God first. They’re seeking career, relationship, fame, you name it, above their pursuit of God. Then, when God is not answering their prayers, they get angry with Him.

We have to understand God’s promises are conditional. If you seek God first and His righteousness, everything you need will be added to you.

It takes two to tango. God is in a relationship with us. He is not a genie who is under us. We are beneath Him. He is Lord, He is Master, He is Father, we are supposed to do what He says. He does not have to do what we say, and every time He does it is a gift, a benefit, not a right.

Some of us just need to be patient with God, knowing He tests hearts to determine who is truly faithful to Him. Others of us need to repent from a mindset of entitlement and a lack of obedience to and pursuit of our self-professed God. We need to lay down the idols: the money, the career, the fame, the boyfriend, and seek God above all of those things, and not only seek, but obey and become righteous before Him.

God does makes lots of promises, but notice who they’re to:

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, For they shall be filled … Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God.(‭Matthew‬ ‭5‬:‭6, 8‬ NKJV)

And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. (‭Galatians‬ ‭6‬:‭9‬ NKJV)

Ill-gotten treasures have no lasting value, but righteousness delivers from death. (Proverbs 10:2)

Cast your cares on the Lord
and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. (Psalms 55:22)

Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous. (Psalms 37:16-17)

For the Lord loves the just
and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish. (Psalms 37:28)

Blessings crown the head of the righteous, but violence overwhelms the mouth of the wicked. (Proverbs 10:6)

There’s so many more promises to the righteous, the upright, those who fear God, those who love Him, who obey Him. But these promises are not for those who put Him in second place. These blessings are not for sinners.

So truly consider your walk with God. Do you think your ways are holy and pleasing in His sight? Remember, God is holy to the third power. He hates all forms of wickedness which is disobedience to His commands, and repays each according to his works. The Bible promises we reap what we sow. What are you sowing?

Liberals Should Change Their Label To Totalitarians

As the Day draws near—the End of this existence as we know it—hate will grow more and more pervasive. It’s already been poisoning our Land of the Free for decades, but now, unlike ever before, it is becoming an epidemic.

Everyone points at the obvious, outright display of hatred by terrorists in Iraq and Gaza, but what about America’s freedom terrorists? What about those who try to murder you and gag you with their words because you profess a belief they do not agree with?

Sure, Christians here aren’t being slaughtered—yet—but we are being hated in other ways, and losing our inalienable rights. We are being forced out of the public. Our beliefs are being trampled upon, our sacred holiness and reverence for God is being fought with great force by many Liberal thinkers, which truly, they should change their label to totalitarians, because they vehemently oppose any who do not share their opinions and work with zeal to silence their nonconformist enemies.

They want to strip us of our freedom of speech, our freedom of thought and opinion, and want us to conform to their immorality. They will stop at nothing to seize our rights. They are much the like Capital in Hunger Games, they are Fidel Castro-like, they are vicious enemies of free thought. They promise freedom while all the while passionately attempting to snatch it from the people. They are lovers of their own puffed up selves, believing their ideas must be manifested in every American citizen or else persecution will be delivered, and freedom withdrawn.

They are the worst of hypocrites, pointing fingers at opposing parties and slandering them, portraying them as the enemies of freedom when truly, they are the minions of Communism and Uniformity.

They are the most racist of all. While claiming to love blacks, they take our money and As the Day draws near, the End of this existence as we know it, hate will grow more and more pervasive. We have an even worse terrorist group in America. One that guises themselves as Freedom Lovers and Givers, but secretly, they concoct ways to enslave their citizens for the benefit of their pockets. And we continue electing them, continue to give them power to strip away ours.

But all of this has been prophesied. All of this is inevitable. This world has allowed itself to be deceived and thus, we all will reap the consequences.

But thank God, Jesus Christ offers true freedom in the midst of this world of slavery. Freedom from sin, freedom from death, and freedom from hell. To all who repent of their sinful ways and accept Him as Lord and Savior, He will give the power of true freedom. And then one day, He will return for we who are free and He will make all things right once and for all.

New Video: Dear Woman Considering Abortion

Abortions Galore Because The Government Loves Women Sooo Much

Who in the blazes does this government think they are? To try and force people to financially support the vile act of abortion, to institute such lawless evil and enforce it upon those with a moral conscience toward God Almighty? Does not the Declaration of Independence say EVERYONE has a right to LIFE, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? Everyone but innocent children in their mother’s womb of course.

At conception, there’s human DNA yet many lie and says it’s merely a clump of tissue. They MUST lie in order to ease their conscience from the heinous act of murdering an innocent life, literally tearing its limbs apart by use of metal sticks, scrambling the baby to pieces as its heart-rate climbs in fear and pain. But no, we must not let the mothers know what we are doing, so when we yank out the tiny decapitated head we will call it “number 1.”

Look this up, these are facts friends. The abortion industry BANKS so the government in their greed wants more and more and more of it. They can care less that abortion doubles a woman’s chances of getting breast cancer and then triples and continues to increase the chances after multiple abortions. They don’t care that many women have nightmares afterwards and that suicide rates go up for women after they’ve aborted. They don’t want women to know about FREE PREGNANCY CENTERS that help women with unplanned pregnancy, paying for all their prenatal visits and then help them find a loving adoptive family to take their child when he or she is born.

No. They don’t want women to know that because they do not CARE about women or children, they only care about their bank account!

I Don’t Dig Devotionals Much

The following is from an email I sent to some of my younger siblings in Christ whom I dearly love.

A powerful reminder to us who are in Christ:

“His divine power has given us everything required for life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. By these He has given us very great and precious promises, so that through them you may share in the divine nature, escaping the corruption that is in the world because of evil desires. For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with goodness, goodness with knowledge, knowledge with self-control, self-control with endurance, endurance with godliness, godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love. For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they will keep you from being useless or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter 1:3-8 HCSB)

Family I beg you, do not neglect the Word of God. I’m going to boldly say if your “quiet time” only consists of a devotional, you’re becoming religious rather than relational.

I’m not saying devotionals are evil, but I am saying they are very limiting and potentially dangerous for the believer who replaces the Word with a devotional.

Many devotionals give you a snippet of Scripture and a thought and/or prayer to consider. There’s three problems with this set-up:

1.) A snippet of Scripture is baby food.

This may be okay for a lunch break at work or school, but for your quality time with God?

2.) The author is interpreting Scripture for you, but what if their take is wrong, or rather shallow?

There may be much more layers to that passage (there usually are), but now you’re only getting a taste of the revelation they were shown by the Holy Spirit. But what if you prayed and studied the passages on your own, asking the Holy Spirit to teach you and speak to you? Don’t you think you might get more out of this time than the devotional?

3.) They are giving you a prayer to recite so now your prayer is a quick two sentences that isn’t being personally led by the Holy Spirit, or at least quenches the Spirit, because you say it and then move on with your day

Prayer is intimate. Prayer is insanely powerful. When we base our times in prayer on whatever our devotional tells us to pray, we are totally missing out, and God is missing us.

Imagine every time you spoke to your best friend, it was a two minute (if that) conversation. Basically, these devotional prayers are like the quick, unintentional, chit-chat conversations we have with people we don’t know very well.

When we go deeper in prayer, it’s like the long, intense conversations we have with our close friends that give us revelation and deeper insight into who both of us are, and there’s usually something accomplished in those longer, intentional conversations; whether it be a greater understanding about a personal issue, guidance as to what we should do, a greater love and compassion for each other, getting help with math homework, or a acquiring a new beta reader, something is accomplished in those deeper conversations, things are revealed.

This is what happens in intentional prayer where you make time for God and ask the Holy Spirit to give you the words.

Jesus didn’t talk about the persistent widow who kept pestering the unjust judge for justice for no reason. The bible doesn’t mention Christ spending hours in prayer for no reason. It doesn’t say the “fervent” prayer of the righteous accomplishes much for no reason.

So, my beloved siblings in Christ, my challenge for you is to go deeper in your Bible time and prayer time. Draw near to God, and then He will draw near to you.

Love you guys! Praying for you.

Natasha

A Divine Appointment With A 72-year-old Woman

Blown away by God’s love and pursuit of a 72-year-old woman.

Just had a Jesus and the woman at the well experience; how Jesus made sure He passed through Samaria so He could reach that one woman, who in turn, told her whole town about Him, and many were saved.

My experience with this 72-year-old woman also reminded me of the parable Jesus taught about how the shepherd leaves the 99 in search of the one. I played back everything that brought me to that room where she and I were alone, and was so touched by God’s love and pursuit of her.

I needed an oil change for a long time, and kinda forgot about it until hubby reminded me this morning. So, after I dropped him off at work, I drove to Roberto’s shop. He was too busy so I went for option two: a Jewish mechanic in another city a good 25 minutes away, but then remembered it’s the Sabbath so he’s closed.

As I’m driving, I look to the left and see a shop I’ve never-ever seen before, “Mac Auto,” across the street from Roberto’s. It didn’t look half as packed as his so I give my dad a holler, and he says to go for it, that’ll it likely be around $30 to $35 bucks.

I go, and it’s actually $15 and change! The guy, Pablo, said I didn’t need the more expensive ones for my ’03 Toyota (I know, a mechanic who didn’t try to up-sale me. So the Lord!).

Anyhow, Pablo says it’ll be an hour-and-a-half wait. So I give my sister a ring, who lives nearby, and ask if she can scoop me up. She says sure, that she’ll come after prayer.

So Pablo points out the waiting room, and in I go. Seconds after, a woman comes in. As I read my Bible on my phone, we sit in silence. I don’t have that compelling prodding of the Holy Spirit to speak to her, so I pray a prayer in my mind, asking something I usually ask, but also for something I never ask; something like this:

Lord, if you desire me to minister to her, open the door of conversation, give me the words, but let me grow a love for her.

See, since I didn’t get that prodding, I wanted to tell her whatever Christ wanted me to tell her and that it would be from love, not obligation. If I had opened my mouth right then and there, it would have been from obligation to preach the gospel, a duty, rather than a service of love.

So after about ten minutes of silence, Pablo comes and closes the door, which causes the woman to ask, “Why did he shut the door?”

I, knowing God is up to something, go with it. “Well, there is A/C in here.” I stood and turned down the wall-unit. “Thank God it’s not as hot out today.”

“Well the heat is better than up North. I couldn’t take it up there.”

We begin talking about where she’s from and then something amazing happens: she tells me things that cause compassion to instantly rise in my heart. She continues, and more compassion floods in. She is from the Rosa Parks era. She said she was worse than Rosa Parks, and never sat on the back of the bus. She mentioned a few more things that just caused me to grow a love for her—the love Christ has for her.

And so my opportunity came. I told her about the Holy Spirit, a little about how He changed me, the necessity of Christian fellowship, of Christian family (she had been raised in the church, and enjoyed a very close fellowship of sacrificial love and what she called a “melting pot” of believers in her old neighborhood). But after moving here, she went to the church buildings and experienced a lot of politics and emotional abuse from false prophets and money-hungry goons.

Interestingly enough, hubby and I no longer attend a service at a building, but just gather at a home where there’s food, prayer, worship, study, fellowship and accountability. We are like a family. I was able to share this with her and she even allowed me to pray over her. From all that she’s been through, and the way she reacted to a rowdy customer, I knew she was a tough woman. But after the prayer, she had tears in her eyes, and I saw a softening in her heart.

And this is the God I serve. Jesus Christ is exactly who He said He is: the Good Shepherd who came to seek and to save the lost, to heal the sick, and to set the captive free. She needed emotional healing, and I believe this may have been the start of that process.

To think, she is 72-years-old, no longer in deep community with the church, and here Jesus pursues her and reminds her of His love for her, the importance of Christian fellowship, and who knows what else. But He didn’t look at her age and go, “Eh, there’s younger folks out there who have more time. I’ll focus on them.” He doesn’t discriminate based on outward appearance. He searches the heart, and draws all people to Himself. Not all will come when they hear Him call, but some will, and even if it’s just one, He will make time for that precious soul.

This is me, mind-blown at Christ’s love for a 72-year-old woman.

What If Jesus Chose To Divorce You?

Think about it.
